Global Stocks Rise After Trump Trade Move

Stock markets around the world edged higher and the dollar rose Tuesday as investors weighed global trade negotiations and central bank moves.

The Stoxx Europe 600 was up 0.1% in early morning trade following gains in Japanese stocks. Many markets in Europe and Asia were closed for a holiday. Futures pointed to a flat opening for the S&P 500.
